Garden break: Thought before it fleets....not everyone gardens. Not everyone is the outdoors type. But if I could give you any advice it would be this. Do something little. Involve your kids. Pass on the fact that nature is important. Hang one birdhouse with your children when they are little. Stain it and take care of it. It will serve as a tiny reminder every time you see it that you passed that message on to your kids. It was something you did together and you did a little part in giving back. Just like the bird babies who will inhabit this house through the years and then be gone...your babies will soon also be gone...pass on a tiny nature lesson in their journey.
